Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum or CGRF is a forum constituted by the Distribution Licensee in compliance to the UPERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum) Regulations 2022 notified on 21-07-2022 in exercise of the power conferred on it by sub-section (5) to (8) of Section 42 of the Electricity Act, 2003. The forums established under these Regulations shall entertain complaints of the consumers/complainants, who are supplied or to be supplied electricity within the area of respective forums depending upon the nature of the complaint.
